We want the fans to be able to invest in their favorite bands and earn royalties with them, which translates into sharing the success. We know that disruption is always challenging and we are committed to making NFTs technology accessible to everyone through a curated UX.

What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a talented and ambitious Backend Engineer looking to set the pillars for a state-of-the-art product. In this role, you will be working with current engineers in order to tackle all engineering challenges ahead. As a Backend Engineer, you will also be in charge of decision-making in many tech fundamentals.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement architecture that enables the Wiz platform to adapt and grow.

• Understand our core business objectives, then ideate and implement new features that will help us achieve our exciting goals to grow our customer base.

• Troubleshoot technical issues by leveraging your deep understanding of the systems and experience with technologies we leverage.

• Interface with other team members to build the critical portions of the app.

Must have:

• +3 years experience as a software engineer.

• Considerable understanding of the Ruby and RoR ecosystem.

• Considerable experience designing and developing APIs with Ruby on Rails (or similar languages/frameworks) that scale to thousands of requests per minute.

• Experience with PostgreSQL & Redis.

• Test driven mentality.

• Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail oriented, and delivering results in an organized manner.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Grape.

• Experience with Heroku.

• Working knowledge of NFTs, web3 technologies and EVM compatible blockchains.

• A customer-focused and product-focused mindset. You’re interested in using the right tool for the job and you understand, and can speak to, the “Why” behind your choices.
